Spring Newsletter
Dear Members and Supporters of Mulligan’s Manor,
Spring has arrived, and with it, we at Mulligan’s Manor are proud to reflect on the events that have
taken place in our LGBTQIA+ group home. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our
volunteers and donors who have contributed to our success and helped us make a difference in the life
of our residents.
We hope this message finds you well. We have some exciting news to share with you. As we continue to
grow and expand our operations, we are now sending our newsletter from a new platform.
This new platform will allow us to better connect with our supporters and keep you updated on all our
latest news and events. We believe that effective communication is essential to our success, and we are
excited about the possibilities that this new platform presents.
In the past few months, we have been fortunate to participate in several events that have allowed us to
showcase our mission and connect with the broader community. One of the significant events we
participated in was the Pride Run in Phoenix. We were thrilled to have many of our residents and staff
members participate, in support of LGBTQIA+ visibility.
In addition to participating in the Pride Run, we also attended the Rainbows Festival. Sponsored by the Arizona Community Foundation we were able to have a booth at the Rainbows Festival. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with the LGBTQ community and share our mission with others. We were thrilled to meet so many supportive individuals who are passionate about our cause.
We would like to show our appreciation to Sheena Williams who showcased Mulligan’s Manor by highlighting one of our Arizona noted artists, Tom Pomeroy who donated one of his wonderful paintings for auction.
Also, we would like to pass on a big thank you and hug to Keith and Ben who with their continued generosity donated three kindle readers to our residents. This will allow our kids to pursue their reading, in addition build a library for the whole house to share.
Furthermore, we are thrilled to announce that two of our residents had the opportunity to attend the Cinderella Affair. Angie Thorton, one of our dedicated volunteers, took them to the event, where they each received a beautiful dress, shoes, a purse and matching jewelry. The Cinderella Affair provided formal wear to girls who may not be able to afford it otherwise, and we were honored to participate.

Mulligan’s Manor recently received a generous donation from Thrive Causemetics in the form of skincare products. The donation from Thrive Causemetics will allow us to provide high-quality skincare products to the youth we serve, our therapy clients and supporters, helping them feel more confident and cared for. We are grateful for the support of Thrive Causemetics and look forward to continuing to make a positive impact in the lives of the LGBTQIA+ community.
We are thrilled to share with you the positive impact of our volunteer Emily Hill on our LGBTQIA+ group home. Emily has been dedicating her time to spend with our residents, providing emotional support, and creating a safe space for everyone. Her compassion, empathy, and understanding of the challenges faced by LGBTQIA+ individuals have been valuable to our community. Emily’s efforts have our residents feel seen, heard, and respected. Thank you, Emily!
As we move forward, we are committed to continuing our mission of providing a safe and supportive home for LGBTQIA+ individuals. We believe that everyone deserves to live authentically and freely, and we are honored to be able to provide a space for our residents to do just that.
